A Chinese blue and white two-handled porcelain flask.

Blue and white angled rectilinear form, decorated in 17th century style with groups of figures on rocky half-enclosed terraces, the base with an apocryphal mark of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722).

A very handsome piece, though not of the period it clearly copies. Usually these pieces come from the 2nd half of the 19th century, but in this case it might be somewhat later than that.
